RLD makes it’s entry in Maharashtra Politics, Appoints Dr Vedprakash Tiwari as Maharashtra Chief!

 

AMIDST the increasing excitement of Maharashtra Assembly Elections Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) has started making its ground in Maharashtra State. On Sunday, 20 October, 2024 the party held a meeting in the suburb of Mumbai Sakinaka and announced the party’s Maharashtra chief. Taking the instructions of the party’s National President and Union Minister Chaudhary Jayant Singh RLD’s National General Secretary Trilok Tyagi has appointed Dr. Vedprakash Tiwari as the Maharashtra state President.

Dr. Vedprakash Tiwari, who is also an advocate by profession, started his political career with the Bharatiya Vidyarthi Sena (BVS) led by Raj Thackeray. He was the Maharashtra state vice-president in MNS’s Vidyarthi Sena for 14 years and before joining RLD, he was handling the responsibility of Mumbai General Secretary in Ajit Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). On 20 October, Dr. Tiwari joined RLD along with hundreds of his supporters. Now the party has started it’s preparations for the upcoming Municipal elections.

RLD is the alliance of NDA in the Union Government as well as in Uttar Pradesh government. It’s National President Chaudhary Jayant Singh has got the portfolio of state minister with independent charge in Narednra
Modi government.
